Vermicelli soup with Chinese cabbage and chicken meatballs
Ingredients (serves 2)
180g Chinese cabbage
30g vermicelli
100g minced chicken
15g green onion
★1/4 teaspoon sake
★1/4 teaspoon potato starch
* 3cm tube ginger (to taste)
★1/4 teaspoon salt
Additive-free chicken soup 5g
500ml water
How to make it
①Separate the Chinese cabbage into the core and leaves, cut the core into 5cm strips, and cut the leaves into bite-sized pieces. Cut the green onions into bite-sized pieces.
② Parboil the glass noodles according to the package instructions, drain them, and place them in a bowl.
3. Add the ground chicken and ★ to a bowl, mix, divide into 6 equal parts and roll into balls.
④ Put water in a pot and place on medium heat. Once it boils, add the additive-free chicken soup, add the chicken meatballs from step ③ and the cabbage core from step ①, bring it back to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
⑤ Add the Chinese cabbage leaves from step ① and simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour the soup into the bowl containing the glass noodles and it's done.
