Easy cabbage rolls
These are cabbage rolls with a mild chicken consommé flavor.
Ingredients (serves 3-4)
[Cabbage roll ingredients]
9 large cabbage leaves 400g minced pork
1/2 carrot 1 slice of bread (crusts removed) 100ml milk
3g salt
1 egg 1 pack of consommé stock (use the contents) A little nutmeg
[Stew soup ingredients]
Consomme dashi pack 2 packs Water 800ml
6g salt
Pepper to taste 2 tablespoons ketchup
(If you don't like sour flavors, leave it out.)
How to make it
① Divide the cabbage into individual pieces, being careful not to tear it. Slice the thick part of the core a little to make it thinner.
② Boil a large amount of water in a pot, boil the cabbage for 1 minute, then drain in a colander.
3) Dice the carrots and tear off all the parts of the bread except for the crusts and soak them in milk.
4. Add the ground pork, carrots, bread soaked in milk, eggs, contents of the consomme stock packet, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, and mix quickly until sticky.
5. Spread the cabbage on top of 1 and place an appropriate amount of seeds on top. Roll it up starting from the core, tucking the sides inwards.
⑥Put 800ml of water and the consomme stock pack in a pot and bring to a boil.
⑦ Once it boils, place the cabbage rolls in the pot. Add salt, pepper, and ketchup, return to the heat, and once it boils, simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
⑧Finally , serve on a plate, sprinkle with parsley and it's done.
