Warm and gentle Chinese porridge

Easy to make in a rice cooker! A gentle Chinese porridge that will warm your body. Enjoy it for breakfast or a late-night snack.

Ingredients (serves 3-4)

1 cup of rice Water to match the porridge mode of the rice cooker 1 pack of Chinese soup stock 1/2 teaspoon of salt

【topping】
Add green onions, salad chicken, fried bread, green sprouts, goji berries, pickled mustard greens, etc. as desired.

How to make it

1. Put rice and water in a rice cooker, add a Chinese soup stock pack and salt, and cook on porridge mode.

②Once cooked, remove the dashi pack and mix well.

3. Place in a bowl and add toppings as desired.

It is also delicious with pickles, pickled mustard greens, braised pork, etc.

A drizzle of sesame oil will give it a more Chinese flavor.
